We tried teas from this farmer for the first time last year. His teas grow in a forest not too far from Tongqinghe and Baihuatan, an Yiwu village that we have never seen in the western market. We’ll keep the exact location a secret but we’re really happy with it. It’s not yet a famous place and that is why this tea comes with a very friendly price tag. As for the tea, it’s a creamy sweet tea with lovely mouthfeel, Kumquats and Mandarins sweetness. We decided to to name it Chun Lei (Spring Thunder) which in Chinese culture represents a good year/harvest to come.
This tea comes from medium size trees growing in a secret village in Yiwu.
